Stanton suffered a laceration on the left side of his face when he was struck by a pitch in Thursday's in Milwaukee. He was taken to a local hospital to undergo X-rays and a CT scan. Stanton's initial diagnosis is promising, but the medical exams should reveal the full extent of his injuries.
