Stanton left Thursday's game after being hit in the face with a pitch in the fifth inning, Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. In a scary scene, Stanton had to be stretchered off the field, and will be taken to the hospital for evaluation. The good news is that he appeared to be responsive and showed movement, and even assisted the paramedics that were lifting him on to the stretcher. The Marlins will likely provide an update on his health following the game, but expect him to miss significant time, and potentially the remainder of the 2014 season.
