The San Diego Padres have not yet announced a starter for Game 1 of Wednesdays wild-card series, but Cardinals manager Mike Shildt said Tuesday that the team anticipates facing right-hander Chris Paddack. Both Mike Clevinger (biceps) and Dinelson Lamet (biceps) are attempting to work their way back to make starts in the three-game series, although both appear unlikely to be ready in time for Wednesday.
