Souza will receive a cortisone injection in his hip and he hopes to return to the Rays after the minimum 15 days on the DL, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Souza landed on the DL on Thursday due to a hip injury, but the hope is that a cortisone shot plus rest will have him back once he's eligible to return at the beginning of July. Mikie Mahtook and Jaff Decker figure to share time in right field until Souza returns.
