Souza (thumb) is out of the lineup Wednesday against the Royals, Roger Mooney of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Souza incurred a hand injury Monday and has yet to return to action. Fortunately, X-rays didn't reveal any structural damage, so there has yet to be any indication that Souza will require a stint on the disabled list. With Souza out, Tampa Bay will add Corey Dickerson to the outfield and move Colby Rasmus to right.
