Souza is nursing a sore hand after he was hit by a pitch in the eighth inning of Sunday's win over the Yankees, Roger Mooney of the Tampa Tribune reports. Souza was able to remain in the game and take his base after being hit, but was pulled later in the game for Joey Butler. X-rays conducted on Souza's hand following his removal came back negative, but the soreness might be problematic enough to knock him out of the lineup Monday against the Royals.
