EDGE Analysis
The red-hot Smith will take a seat Tuesday with the Mariners facing left hander Dallas Keuchel. Smith has hit .400/.400/.880 with four home runs and 11 RBI over the last week, but his numbers against lefties (.150/.227/.200) make him a non-viable option when the Mariners face southpaws. The recently recalled Dan Robertson will take Smith's place in left field Tuesday.
