Smith is out of the lineup for Saturday's game against the Blue Jays, Bob Dutton of The Tacoma News Tribune reports. Smith is getting another day off against a left-handed starter, this time Toronto's Mark Buehrle. The right-handed Rickie Weeks and Willie Bloomquist are starting in the corner outfield positions, which could be an indication the Mariners are planning to use Smith much less against lefties.
