Smith is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Angles. The Mariners are going up against yet another lefty in Andrew Heaney, and given that Smith has made just one start against a left handed pitcher this season, he will once again sit this one out. Franklin Gutierrez will draw the start in left field and bat second.
