Sheets went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk Tuesday against the Royals.
EDGE Analysis
Sheets took Brad Keller yard in the fourth inning to record his sixth home run of the season. It was a well-timed knock, as the return of Eloy Jimenez will put pressure on Sheets to produce or risk losing out on playing time in the outfield. Despite that threat, Sheets has managed a strong skills profile across 74 plate appearances to this point in the season. Though he's hitting just .231, he's struck out at only a 21.6 percent clip and has been hampered by a .205 BABIP. Sheets has also displayed plenty of power, maintaining a .569 slugging percentage and .338 ISO.
