Thompson went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in a loss to Minnesota on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
After going deep for the first time this season in his last game, Thompson slammed a solo shot in his first at-bat Tuesday. The contest was otherwise a frustrating one for the outfielder -- he struck out three times in his final four at-bats -- but he has at least shown some potential for production with two homers and two stolen bases across only 11 plate appearances on the campaign. Thompson slammed 21 long balls and swiped three bags in 92 games at the Triple-A level prior to being called up last week.
