Skaggs (biceps) will throw a bullpen session Wednesday and could progress to throwing a simulated game by the weekend, Alden Gonzalez of MLB.com reports.

Wednesday will mark Skaggs' third bullpen session since being cleared to throw in mid-May. As long as Skaggs' bullpen goes well Wednesday, he'll be ready to move on to throwing a simulated game Saturday. Once he is able to get through the sim game, Skaggs' next step figures to be a minor league rehab assignment.
