Adell (thumb) is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Mariners, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.

The 23-year-old injured his thumb while striking out during a pinch-hit appearance Monday and will be held out of the lineup for at least one game. Steven Duggar will receive the start in left field Tuesday in Adell's stead.
