Sierra is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rockies, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.
EDGE Analysis
The lefty-hitting Sierra will bow out of the lineup for the second straight game with the Marlins facing another lefty starting pitcher (Kyle Freeland). Following Starling Marte's trade to the Athletics ahead of the deadline, Sierra and Lewis Brinson appear to have formed the strong and short side of a platoon in center field, respectively. Against right-handed pitchers, Brinson typically shifts over to left or right field.
