Since being traded from Atlanta to Toronto on May 31, Grilli has posted a 2.63 ERA, 1.17 WHIP with a 23:6 K:BB through 13.2 innings (15 appearances).
EDGE Analysis
The veteran came on-board and immediately took the role that Drew Storen was unable to fill. He's yet to blow a save as the team's eighth-inning man, earning four holds while adding two wins and one save to his resume with the Jays. He's been flat out dominant for the most part, and Grilli is next in line to assume the closer role should Roberto Osuna struggle at any point during the second half.
