He had turned in back-to-back quality starts coming into Tuesday's outing, and manager Bryan Price gave no indication immediately following the game that Simon's rotation spot is in jeopardy, but it's going to be difficult for the team to keep him there for long. It's worth noting that the Reds' top pitching prospect, Cody Reed, is slated to start for Triple-A Louisville on Wednesday, so it would be relatively easy switch for the club when it decides the time is right.
