Simon remains a blight on the Reds' rotation, managing just two quality starts in nine trips to the mound while giving up five or more runs four times, but until pitchers like Anthony DeSclafani and Homer Bailey are ready to come off the DL, the team will likely keep trotting him out there to try and soak up some innings. His next start will come Saturday in Milwaukee.
