Shuck was recalled from Triple-A Charlotte on Monday, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Shuck, who will take the roster spot of reliever Tom Kahnle, was called up to provide some additional outfield depth with Austin Jackson dealing with a toe injury. Shuck will jump right into Chicago's lineup Monday afternoon, and will start in center field while hitting fifth against Mets starter Matt Harvey.
