Shreve was recalled from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Tuesday. Shreve will join the New York bullpen in place of Branden Pinder, who has been optioned to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. Given that he's occupying the final spot in the big-league bullpen, Shreve figures to see most of his work in medium and low-leverage situations.
