Straw has gone 9-for-27 with two doubles, a stolen base and five runs scored through nine Cactus League games.
EDGE Analysis
Straw played his way back onto the fantasy radar with 30 stolen bases in 158 games last season between Houston and Cleveland. He also did well with a .349 on-base percentage, but his fantasy appeal remains limited. The Guardians' hitting is questionable outside of Straw, Jose Ramirez, Franmil Reyes and Amed Rosario. Steals, runs scored and maybe average should be pluses for Straw, but he won't add many homers or RBI despite an everyday role as the Guardians' projected leadoff hitter.
