Shoemaker (oblique) threw a successful bullpen session Sunday, Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times reports. Shoemaker needed this bullpen session to go well in order to prove to manager Mike Scioscia that he could be counted on in a playoff start, and it appears he did just that. Provided he didn't experience any unnoticed setbacks, look for the 28-year-old righty to join the Halos' postseason rotation.
