Shawn Kelley requested $1.2 million and was offered $750,000 from the Mariners when arbitration figures were exchanged Friday. Kelley is arbitration eligible for the second time due to his status as a super-two player. He's coming off a solid 2012 campaign where he posted a 3.25 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and 45/15 K/BB ratio in 44 1/3 innings. He'll return to his middle relief role with the M's in 2013.
