EDGE Analysis

Shaw has struggled with his plate discipline early in 2016 - his walk rate (seven percent) and strikeout rate (27.3 percent) are both worse than last year's rookie campaign. However, his .308/.367/.504 slash line is much improved, and fairly compensates for the decline in discipline. Shaw has played in every game this season for the Red Sox, and locked in with league's best offense makes him a top option in most formats.
