Shaw recorded the final four outs -- including a strikeout -- for his first save Thursday against the Cubs. Indians closer Cody Allen was called upon to work out of a bases-loaded jam in the fifth after a rain delay, so Shaw received the save opportunity Thursday. He converted it without allowing a single base runner, but it is unlikely that Shaw will see many more save chances. The Indians will continue to use Allen as their closer, and Shaw should return to his role as a set up man.
