Shaw (hand) is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against Colorado, Tim Britton of the Providence Journal reports.

Although Shaw's hand injury is believed to be minor, the Red Sox believe that it warrants at least one off day after he had started 76 consecutive contests, according to Britton. Josh Rutledge will take Shaw's place at third base Tuesday, batting eighth in the order against Jorge De La Rosa.
