Shaw (hand) had to leave Saturday's game against Atlanta after being hit by a pitch in the first inning. The X-rays on his right hand came back negative, The Associated Press reports.

Shaw lasted until the fifth frame, but exited because he wasn't able to grip the bat properly. It wouldn't be surprising to see him sit out Sunday's series finale against the Braves. Shaw has been a nice addition for the Brewers. He sports a .256/.299/.533 slash line with 11 runs, eight doubles, five home runs, 18 RBI and two stolen bases.
