Shaw will sit for the second straight game after injuring his finger diving for a grounder Sunday. While X-rays came back negative, the ailment is apparently still bothering enough to keep him out of the lineup. Eric Sogard will draw the start at third base in his stead, while he should continue to be considered day-to-day in the truest sense.
