Severino was recalled from Triple-A Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Monday, Shane Hennigan of the Scranton Times-Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
Severino struggled in seven starts for the Yankees earlier in the season, amassing an ugly 7.46 ERA and 1.69 WHIP across 35.0 cumulative innings. The 22-year-old has turned things around at Triple-A, however, posting a 3.25 ERA and 7-1 record in 10 starts. It's unclear when he'll make his next start for the big league club, but he could conceivably take the hill over the weekend in place of either Ivan Nova (Friday) or Nathan Eovaldi (Saturday).
