Severino was ejected in the second inning, Erik Boland of Newsday reports.
EDGE Analysis
Severino completed just one innings and allowed a run on a hit and two walks. He hit a batter to open the second inning and was ejected by home plate umpire Todd Tichenor. Severino was already at 34 pitches and was on a 50-pitch limit. His season is likely over, but we'll have to wait and see if further discipline comes from the Commissioner's office. If he gets suspended, it put Severino's chance of grabbing a roster spot next spring in jeopardy.
