EDGE Analysis
Severino, who allowed just two men past first base through the first five innings, lost his bid for a win and a shutout on Justin Smoak's two-run home run in the sixth. He was quite efficient and needed just 98 pitches to complete seven frames, making it three straight starts that he has gone past the sixth. Severino has an excellent 22:3 K:BB over 21.1 innings in that span and will take an impressive 2.90 ERA into Saturday's matchup with the Orioles.
