The outing was actually one of the young righty's better starts of the season and lowered his ERA (still sitting at an ugly 6.31 through 25.2 innings. A combination of Severino's two errors and Mark Trumbo's pair of homers was enough to keep the 22-year-old winless on the season. Hyped as a potential breakout star, Severino has looked far from that through his first five outings of 2016.
