New York Mets relief pitcher Seth Lugo (elbow) was transferred to the 60-day injured list on Monday. The move was made to simply create space on the 40-man roster for outfielder Johneshwy Fargas who was called up by the Mets, given the injuries to Michael Conforto and Jeff McNeil.
