Kazmir will have his contract selected by the Giants to start Wednesday against the Padres, Kerry Crowley of The San Jose Mercury News reports.

The 37-year-old allowed five runs across seven frames in those appearances. He spent most of the season at Triple-A Sacramento and posted a 4.61 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and 48:18 K:BB over 52.2 innings.
