Dahl (back) will face teammate Chi Chi Gonzalez (biceps) in a simulated game Tuesday, Patrick Saunders of The Denver Post reports.

A bout of lower-back soreness forced Dahl to the injured list last Wednesday, but he seems to be progressing well. If he comes out of the sim game feeling OK, Dahl could end up returning after the minimum 10 days or shortly thereafter. The oft-injured outfielder has struggled to a .189/.238/.243 line so far but should still see regular action upon activation.
