Terry was optioned to Triple-A Round Rock prior to Friday's game against the A's.

He had played pretty regularly since debuting in late-July, but Terry hit just .089 with a 15:2 K:BB in 45 at-bats. Catcher Yohel Pozo will take Terry's place on the 26-man roster.
