The Guardians reassigned Gibaut to minor-league camp Tuesday, Mandy Bell of MLB.com reports.

Gibaut, who had been attending big-league camp as a non-roster invitee, is expected to open the season at Triple-A Columbus. Between stops with the Rays, Rangers and Twins, Gibaut has made 27 relief appearances at the big-league level across the past three seasons, generating a 5.40 ERA and 1.53 WHIP in 33.1 innings.
