Calhoun served in the strong side of a platoon as the designated hitter early in the year, but he went 0-for-11 with a run, two walks and two strikeouts over the last four games. He'll attempt to sort things out in the minors, while Andy Ibanez, Charlie Culberson and Nick Solak should see additional playing time.
