Keller was optioned to Triple-A Salt Lake on Sunday.

Keller spent most of spring training in major-league camp and posted a 6.14 ERA and 9:3 K:BB over 7.1 innings during six Cactus League appearances. The right-hander will head to the minors to begin the regular season but could return to the big leagues at some point if the Angels need bullpen depth.
