Cincinnati selected Martini's contract from Triple-A Louisville on Tuesday.

Martini inked a minor-league deal with the Reds back in February and had put up a .275/.393/.481 batting line with 15 homers and 65 RBI through 93 games for Louisville. He'll be a backup option at first base and in the corner outfield while also possibly cycling into the DH role.
