Atlanta Braves pitcher Sean Newcomb was placed on the seven-day injured list on Wednesday. Newcomb was hit in the head by a line drive back on June 15 and while it was unclear for a while how much time he'd miss, the Braves will clearly be without him for at least a few days now.
