Atlanta Braves starting pitcher Sean Newcomb may have made Mets fans think back to those years in the late 1990s-early 2000s when they couldn't solve Atlanta pitching to save their lives. He went seven innings, striking out eight and walking none. Newcomb was pretty economical too, leaving the game with under 100 pitches thrown. He's now got a 3.38 ERA. The lefty will likely kick off the first of two games in Tampa Bay. Start him.
