Atlanta Braves pitcher Sean Newcomb fired a scoreless ninth inning to earn the save during a 4-1 win over the San Francisco Giants. It was the first save opportunity of the year for the 25-year-old. Newcomb, who was demoted to Triple-A Gwinnett back in April, has not allowed a run yet in seven appearances out of the Braves' bullpen.
