Sean Doolittle picked up his ninth save of the season Wednesday in the A's 4-2 defeat of the Rangers. Doolittle struck out two of the three batters he faced in a perfect ninth inning. The 27-year-old left-hander boasts an absurd 48/1 K/BB ratio in 34 innings this season and has simply run away with Oakland's closer gig.
