Seager is nearing a seven-year, $100 million contract extension with the Mariners, Jeff Passan of Yahoo! Sports reports. Seager's extension will reportedly include a club-option for the eighth season worth up to $20 million. The deal will become official once the 27-year-old passes a physical. Seager finished 2014 batting .268/.334/.454 with 25 home runs and 96 RBI.
