Seager (foot) is out of the lineup for Friday's matchup against the White Sox, Ryan Divish of the Seattle Times reports.

Although Seager's not in the lineup Friday night, he's available to be used as a pinch-hitter. The team plans to have Seager return to action Saturday for Seattle's matchup against the left-handed Jose Quintana. In the meantime, Shawn O'Malley will start at third base and bat eighth for the Mariners.
