Scott Rolen said Friday that the range of motion in his oft-injured shoulder is the best it's been in 4-5 years. Rolen, who turns 37 in April, batted .242/.279/.397 with five homers, 36 RBI and a .676 OPS over 65 games last season while missing most of the year with shoulder woes. It's encouraging that he's feeling good now, but he's a poor bet to remain healthy and productive in 2012. Slated to become a free agent after the season, Rolen wouldn't say whether it would be his last year. "I want to play and contribute and be accountable," he said. "I'm looking pretty much at the present."
