Scott Rolen is not in Thursday's lineup. The veteran third baseman is batting just .171/.209/.244 in 43 plate appearances this year, and really hasn't made great contact. It's safe to wonder whether he can make it trough the entire 2012 campaign. Todd Frazier is starting at third base Thursday against the Cardinals.
