Scott Proctor has decided to retire from baseball. Proctor was a pretty decent middle reliever for a couple years, but overuse led to injuries and ineffectiveness the last few seasons. He last pitched in the majors in 2011, posting a 7.14 ERA over 39 games. He retires with a 4.78 ERA and 1.47 WHIP over parts of seven seasons.
