Scott Baker, filling in for Yu Darvish, took his second loss of the season after allowing three runs over 4 2/3 innings on Thursday against the Orioles. Darvish was bumped due to inclement weather, as the Rangers didn't want to waste their ace if the game happened to be called early. For pitching on short notice, Baker wasn't bad, allowing seven hits and walking one while striking out two. Baker has been serving as a long man out of the Rangers' bullpen and will return to the role. He has a 5.80 ERA with a 1.18 WHIP and a 29/7 K/BB ratio.
