Scott Baker (elbow) will throw a bullpen session Wednesday before the Twins decide if he's ready to start or needs to go on a rehab assignment. It had looked like a rehab assignment was inevitable, but it sounds like they're holding out the possibility that he could rejoin the Twins rotation over the weekend. Baker has been sidelined since July 5 with a mild flexor muscle strain in his pitching elbow.
